Get the Most from Your Learning Community: Three Tips for Getting Involved


1. Update Your Profile

Maximize your presence on the Learning Community website by keeping your profile updated. When your profile is up to date and complete, it is easier for other Learning Community members to find and connect with you on the website, especially via the peer directory. 


Customize Your Information

Update Your Picture, Bio, Pronouns, Target Population, Languages Served and Topics of Expertise/Interest directly on your profile page.

For privacy and security purposes, the fields listed under “Contact Details” such as name, city and state may not be updated at the user level.

2. Register for Learning Community Events

Visit the Events tab on the navigation bar to preview the upcoming events calendar. Typically, there are two types of events promoted on the website: Urban Institute or Partner events. Each event type is differentiated by the icon on the top right of the event image.
